First 2 Days of Level 4! [Recap]

Welcome Back Desiree!

Ah yes... It is definitely that time again, to put my studying mind back into my head and thinking caps on top. After over two months off, I was more than ready to get back into it; but at the same time nervous for the weeks ahead. Coming in to the campus and seeing those I remember from last semester, it was a very calm and welcoming vibe to be had during the Powhiri, as we were all welcomed in to be a part of the Northtec family (or in my case, 'Welcomed Back' in and meeting that family once again).

After all was done, and getting big hugs from both Jo and Jane, it was time to settle in. I also discovered that most of the new class were made up of "Newbies" which I found exciting, and to finally meet them all was also amazing. To sum up the first day, would be a comment such as "Excited to be back and to get myself back into Adult Learning".

Fast forward to Tuesday, or my first lesson of Human Biology with the legendary Alex Storrie. Brief introductions, outline of this course and what will be different in comparison to Applied Science back in Level 3. I must say this may stump me, but the way I see it, if something stumps me then it means it's something to learn from. Human Biology is no different, and we were already straight into it - which I expected going up a level from last semester. As he referred to myself and last semester's class as the "Ladies of the Past", for us the first lesson was more revision but still things to learn of nonetheless. With the lesson over at 2pm (as us "Ladies of the Past" should know about), it was time to pack up and head back to our familiar kingdoms or what not.

As I wanted to keep this brief, you can tell I haven't said as much as I would've liked; however that does mean it will be "No Holds Barred" and anything that I do find will be said in the best way possible... Unapologetically!

So I will keep you all in the loop, but for now, in the words of a dear old beloved cartoon character...

"GET BACK TO WORK!"
